Alan, The master stein, 2,5 L, is form 1169 and is entitled “Nürnberg Artist Stein.” This is a relief stein. The five artists depicted on this stein include: Veit Stoss (ca.1450-1533), sculptor; Peter Vischer (1460-1529), sculptor; Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), painter and printmaker; Adam Kraft (1455-1508), sculptor; and Wentzel Jamnitzer ( 1508-1585), goldsmith and polyhedral artist. The set has an estimated range of $900 to $1,400 in mint condition per The Beer Stein Library. The prices can vary considerably based on where it is bought (stein auction catalog, antique shop, private collector, eBay, etc.), current economic conditions and other factors. There should be marks on the bottom that will tell you the age. The glass stein shows the Trumpeter of Sackingen. Most glass steins aren't mark so I can't help you with the maker or age. Ron
