I recently purchased a 1/2 liter Sarreguimines stein with very ornate pewter lid. It has gold colored enameled crown (with blue dots) under which is a dancing black bear within a silver painted silver shield. There are painted enameled four petal flower designs around stein (about 12 total, 6 on each side of central shield). I have not seen this stein before. Does anyone know if this might be one of a series depicting various city crests? Only marking is Sarreguimines on bottom of stein. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks/John
