Help identifying large stein There are links to photos below. This stein was brought back from Europe after WW II. It is about 16 inches tall and has numerous raised portions, small heads, birds and a head underneath the spout. There are two scenes, the larger is of a man playing a zither as two women watch. The smaller one shows three men in a tavern being served by a woman. The figures and painting look like they were done by hand. The is not a markers mark on the bottom, it is stamped Germany and also stamped with the number 460 and 8. There is also a hand marked number 5 and a hand done roman numeral III. That red roman numeral also appears on the inside of the lid. Where and when might this have been made and what might it be worth? Thanks for your time, A White http://technoscribe.net/stein/stein-0003.jpg http://technoscribe.net/stein/stein-0004.jpg http://technoscribe.net/stein/stein-0007.jpg
