David, There is another Bismarck character stein out there that has a fake mark of Neundorf Porzellan. The product was made in Asia. Here are the fake marks, http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/resources/fake_n_repro/neundorf/00.php Do any of those marks look like your mark? Ron
