Hello everyone! I've gone several months without bothering anyone. I'm afraid that ends now. :) I've recently found two matching steins (will attempt to send pic.) I have several questions: 1) what's w/the hole in the top of the handle? It seems to be on all steins distributed by Wekara - is it M&R potter's mark? Does it have a function? 2) One of steins has an 'H' hand drawn and the other has what could a 'D' but actually looks more like a teardrop. Because of the lack of wear, I doubt it's the remaining outline of M&R's mark but, it has a similar outline of same. They both are the 5377 design one with an '11' under the # and one with a '7'. All of the '7's have a dot midway down the back of the number. But what perplexes me most is the top of the handles. Both of mine are 'creased' at the sides and both carry the hole which looks rather deep. Any info would be great! I've approximated age but would rather have an expert tell me what they think. Wait!!
