Bruc, Wooden steins (and yes you do have a stein because it has a lid) were popular in Scandinavia. See http://www.steveonsteins.com/wooden-steins for three articles on wood steins. I don't know the values for wood steins, but you can try looking on eBay, completed sales. Ron P.S.
