Bruce, Thanks for the heads up on Steve. I wasn't aware that he had a medical problem. I don't know if he visits this site anymore, but I couldn't resist pulling his chain about his two biggest pet peeves. If you are an SCI member, you can access the 12/99 Prosit in the Members Only Section. That issue has an article on Scandinavian Wooden Steins. You can also try an Internet search on wood steins or Scandinavian wood steins, you never know what you will find. I don't know of any books on wood steins. Ron
