David, Repeated postings are not uncommon, however five is very unusual. Steintalk is controlled by a program called FrontPage which highly recommends that posts not be removed unless necessary due to the high risk of messing up the linking of the other posts. Your extra posts are not hurting anything, so I will leave them in place.
