Ronda, I can't tell you a value or date at this point, but here's what I can tell. The U5l is incompletely incised and should be 0,5l meaning 1/2 liter capacity. Your stein is stoneware with a transfer of a very well-known 1877 painting by Franz Defregger. Take some more photos showing more of the handle and the thumblift. Someone might be able to know more about date and value.
