Lyn, what a surprise finding your response. I was looking for something further back and saw it. You might not get my response now. I don't have any old J. Peter Thewalt catalogs, but I initially called this a Hanke based on the Beer Stein Library. Now I also base it in the old Hanke catalogs here in the SCI library. If you're a member, take a look at mold #1199 and this is clearly Hanke. Incidentally, these folks have this stein on eBay right now at an incredibly high price--especially with a damaged shank. Start a new post if you like about Trumpeter steins.
