Further to your question (all things being equal), a Bavarian foot artillery stein may not be as valuable as an Imperial foot artillery stein, even thouigh there were more Imperial foot artillery regiments. I really depends on the unit designation seen on the Imperial stein. Steins from some Imperial units, regardless of the service branch, are very rare.
