Nadir, I agree with Bill that you did not pay too much for the stein, especially if you like it and bought it for your collection. It is a nice looking stein, and I would be tempted to buy it if I came across it in an antique store. If you bought it for resale, the only way to know if you paid too much is to try and sell it and see what it brings.
