Thanks, Ron. This is good information to have. I'm assuming that cleaning them would hurt their value. Am I wrong? Would polishing the lids be a no-no as it typically is with antiques? Other than storing them in a cabinet to prevent breakage, are there other steps I should take to preserve or care for them? Or should I pour a cold one in and enjoy it like in days of old? :-)
