I have trying to establish the value of this beer stein. It is about 8 inches high from tip of pewter lid to bottom. Bottom is about 4 inches in diameter. Says Made in Germany on back with number 431 engraved. You can view photos here http://i48.tinypic.com/1zq4tfs.jpg
