You are right about the saying I bought it for 10.00 any idea on age? I love the man's face on the thumb piece. I bought two Lithopane Steins a cobalt blue german wine pitcher by Malz Remy and a real,real old lead or pewter small pitcher. Everything at the auction was real high end stuff, antique store owner personal collection going into assisted living.
