Paul, I would suggest that the stein JZ011 was produced by Dümler & Breiden. My initial thought was this stein’s resemblance to one I have, which can be seen in the Beer Stein Library D&B #112. By tracing the SCI/ Members Only/ Library/ Old Stein Manufacturers Catalogs/ Dümler & Breiden/ page 014 you will find descriptions of form numbers 430-434. These are simple ½-liter steins with sayings, and #434 has the same as your JZ011. The only one of these five in the BSL is D&B #431. I believe Jon Z’s might not actually be #434(missing a form number), but comparing with the other two you will agree that Dümler & Breiden was the manufacturer.
