Hi - I have a Prussian stein from i believe the be the 1870s. Pictures are attached but here's a description: It's stoneware and features the name Prinz Albrecht von Preussen on one side, Fus. Regt. General Feldmarfchall on the other and the number 73 in front of crossed swords on the front, underneath which are the words Nr. 73 Hannover. I was told a couple of years ago that it belonged to a member of Albrecht's 73rd regiment in Hanover, when Albrecht was the fieldmarshal during the Prussian war. The name of the comrade is written in script around the premimeter of the pewter lid, which reads, Probst Kamerad. I'd like to sell it on ebay but what to ensure that it is from the 1870s, which I believe it is. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. http://i45.tinypic.com/rsy1vs.jpg
