William, I was able to view your photos on the SCI Facebook. The handle on your stein does agree with that shown on TBSL web site. This stein comes in either full color or two color version. Your's is the two color version. The full color has the higher value. Since your stein is not in mint condition, it will have a lower value than one in mint condition. Repairing damage, while making the stein more attractive, will not restore it to its mint valuation. Considering the cost to repair a stein, in many cases collectors will avoid damaged steins. If you have an interest in steins, you might want to consider joining SCI to learn more and see if you want to add more steins to your collection. Check for a local chapter in your area and try us out. Many of our collectors began their collections through service assignments in Germany. Ron
