I recently acquired a Whites of Utica stein in the smaller size of 35 and was pleasantly surprised to learn it has a silver plated lid. It seems to have all the plating there,intact and shiny. How often are these lids seen on these steins and do they make any difference in the value of the stein compared to their pewter lidded ones?
