Thx Ron, I am more interested in finding out how often one sees a silver plated lid on these (scarcity) and what difference in value, if any, compared to their pewter lids. Their numbering system is confusing, I was using 35 to reference the size per the article--mine is probably similar to a 3/10 L german stein. Ken
