jwurbel, It is impossible to say how much that marking would affect the value. I would say not much since it is not an obvious blemish. Evidently it bothers you. I would contact the auction company and explain that the item was not described accurately. They should be willing to allow you to return it, or you could come to an agreement on a new price that suits you. I have done this before.
