Alex, Reinhold Merkelbach was bought by Goebel in 1972. Merkelbach was spun off in 1989 and operated under their last name until they finally ceased operations in 2007. Girmscheid now reproduces some of their jugendstil steins. Hohlwein did the 2176 series for RM. There were 12 in the series and the number 1-12 was added to the last digit of the mold number. I couldn't find a 3386 series, but I think the stein on eBay is old. Ron
