This is the correct body shape, scene, mottled glaze and hammered pewter fittings. The only thing that doesn't make sense is the 5-digit form number. It would be illogical for a forgery to copy all of the rest of the stein - implying clear knowledge of the piece - and then apply the incorrect form number to the base, as if to set the piece apart from the original. I believe it to be 100% original, dating to the early 1900s.
