Thanks Ron. Misrepresentation is likely a much more accurate term. The abuse of "Mettlach" on ebay induces much gnashing of teeth by this collector. I am asked by non-collectors who look at my steins how I know that they are all genuine. I assume, sort of along the lines of Walt's input, that a whole lot of work would go into just one counterfeit stein, let alone enough to generate a worthwhile profit. I have not seen references to fake Mettlachs, for example, but have there ever been problems with any particular class of steins?
