Alex, The WebMaster said I exceeded my 2500 character limit. I hope that doesn't apply to a related post. As I stated previously, the biggest problem is with the reproduction reservist steins. A very high percentage of the reservist steins on eBay are reproductions. One seller made up a fantastic story to go along with his listing and somebody bought it hook, line and sinker by bidding it up close to $1,000. Somebody from SCI was able to contact the bidder before he paid for the stein. Of course now you can no longer contact the bidders for some reason. Oh yes, eBay gets a higher commission if it sells at a higher price! I never got any responses from eBay when I told them about misrepresentations in a listing. We need to spread the word to new collectors that it is better to spend the money up front in gaining knowledge before investing too much in collecting. They need to join SCI first. Ron
