William, The catalog (not book) I was referring to is the Girmscheid catalog on The Beer Stein Library web site. You can get to it by looking at the Links section of this site. You need to be a member of that site in order to view the catalogs. Mold 187 has been updated to reflect the "KB" signature. There is no way to tell how many steins were made from a mold or subsequent molds, let alone how many remain available today. New steins are reproduced in limited editions of 5,000 to 10,000. Let's just say your stein is not rare and is commonly available. Ron
