Your stein is probably stoneware, and it should be heavy and thick. Here is a site (German only) that specializes in brewery steins, http://www.bierkrugsammler.de. He doesn't list this particular brewery, but he might be able to answer any question you might have. Some can get quite expensive for just being stoneware steins with a brewery name on it. They are more popular as a collectible in Germany. I have one book that is solely devoted to Munich brewery steins (it includes one for the Munich Kloster-Brauerei featuring a monk).
