Thank you Derek, but my husband has owned this stein since the early 70's. It was presented to him from the wife of a man who was a Major of a tank unit in wwII for Hitler. He was presented with it in the 40's for what they called "doing good deeds for Hitler". My husband tells me that the person that gave it to him told him that Hitler commissioned this company to make a set # of this type of Stein. He also states that this "said" company closed down soon after wwII was over. I am however trying to get a good picture to post. Hopefully someone will know the value once it's posted. Thanks for your input though :)
