Hi Ron, My mistake. I knew the spelling was Rudi but when in a hurry, mistakes are made. Yes, the GERMANY is incised into the bottom of the stein. It has an upward tilt to the letters. The mold number is: 1628. It is a 2 liter stein with a 5 ring hinge. I was told it may be a Hanke stein but was not sure. Ken.
