I didn't look at it as close as you and Walt. So I went back and enlarged the picture. It does look like an "h" rather than a "k" at the end. And while the "V&B" is poorly done, I think it is closer to being a "V&B" rather than a "B&B." I did notice that the lid did not look proper for an HR, it looks more like a contemporary lid. And the lid does not fit properly. How do you know that it was made after WWII? Did Marzi & Remy have some of the HR molds? What else do you see in the decor that differs from the original HR 419. The coloring differs from mine, but that is not unusual for steins that might be painted by different decorators. I did notice a couple of different leaves on the ground below the gnomes, mine only has one leaf in that location.
