G-day everyone, I have had a friend ask me for some help with identification and value of 3 steins left to her by her grandfather, they are not for sale and valuations are for a guide to insurance cover. The link below will take you to the pictures. Here is the info she sent me,

http://photos.yahoo.com/missydelargy (album-steins) The first one was given to my great-grandfather in 1899 on his 21st birthday. It was shortly before he immigrated to the U.S. It is a 1 liter stein and the only marking on the bottom is impressed numbers 1239 5. The large stein is a 2 1/4 liter stein with impressed numbers 992 4 on the bottom. This was also from my great-grandfather. The last 1 liter stein has a transfer pattern on it. It is stamped on the bottom, but the stamp is not readable. This was brought from Germany by my cousin when he was in the service in the 1950's. He bought it at an antique store while he was there, so we do not know how old it is. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. We've wondered for a long time what they might be worth.
