Good morning...again... fellow members I've been reading (a lot), about the preparation of the clay, the three different ways that steins are made, etc. What does not seem to be clear to me is when there is mention of a manufacturer sending blanks to an other factory for the design work. Is the stein that is sent out really blank, that is it, for lack of better term, smooth with no relief or other basic design on it? This is a question that has been on my mind for quite a while, I hope its not considered a dumb one. I GOTTA KNOW! Thanks again, Regards, Tony B
