Good afternoon all. One of the well known artists working for Marzi & Remy was GT. So far so good. Now comes the fly in the ointment. Last year I received as a gift, a "Bierkrug Meisterserie" stein, this replica contains a PUG scroll type label stating that the original design was created by "Gustav Emil THIMWEBEL, 1853-1933". Since, I have seen the name spelled different ways. I know Gustav would be somewhat annoyed if he were still around, I've had that experience and still do. So, is it THIMWEBEL, THINWEBEL, THIMWIBEL or THINWIBEL? I have seen these versions in different articles. Can anyone give me the absolute answer?
