I'm trying to get information on what I suspect to be a Diesinger stein. Most of the information that I have gotten is from your site, but was confused by the D.R.G.M. patent claim. The stein in question is missing it's pewter lid and is 16 inches tall without it. Markings are GesetzlichGeschutz, Germany,an incised 41, an incised F, and D.R.G.M. 154897. The stein pictures three different (musketeers?)and resembles the April 2000 Stein of the Month. It also has a large chip on the rim and was wondering if there is hope for repair. Is it worth repairing? Is there more out on the mystery of this factory? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
