Patricia and Eugene Manusov published a soft cover book entitled A Collector's Guide to Diesinger Steins in 1991 by Bristol Press. Search eBay or used book stores on the Internet for a copy. The Beer Stein Library (see Links section) has a Diesinger Stein Catalog which can be viewed by members of that library. The book doesn't list 41, but the The Beer Stein Library does. This is a 2 liter stein showing three cavaliers (let's not use the French term of musketeers). The Beer Stein Library lists a price range of $400 to $500, so it should be worth repairing. Dave Harr (see Links section) may be able to help you out with a lid, but you will need to go elsewhere to repair the chip (a local antique store could help you). Keep in mind that repairs will not restore it to its mint value.
