I have a 0.5L cut glass stein. The pewter lid has a cannon on it. the thumblift has a helmet which seems to be from the Franco-Prussian war. It has an open hinge. Near the hinge there is a name "MISTERSCHUTZ." On the rim of the lid is a name Bernhard Huth. (probably the owner of the stein). I'm not a collector, nor do I have any intentions of selling this stein. I purchased it in an antique shop over 30 years ago. I've always wanted to know more about it.
