The scene you are describing is the symbol of the city of Munich, the Munich Child. Visit http://www.ngw.nl/index4.htm?int/dld/germany.htm to see the Coat of Arms of Munich. By red crown, I presume you mean a red halo or circle around her head. The church is probably Frauenkirche, a Munich landmark noted for its two domed towers. Can you post the link to your photos?
