I have looked up the Diesinger "Trumpeter of Sackinger". My stein does not exactly look like that. It does reference the same wording.
I guess I thought that since I save the same "1L.with a line under" marking exactly like your article, it was the identifing mark, it being exactly like your pictures and in the same area of the stein. Did other stein makers use this same type of markings?
