I sent pictures of this stein to John Sipple for appraisal at Stein Center and he wrote back saying that this stein was not in his expertise and to contact you! It's a very heavy and old stein, pewter but poor quality! As soon as I can figure out how to get these pictures posted I will. In the mean time I'll give you my written description : 10 3/4" tall, base 6 1/4" x 5 3/4", the mouth 3 7/8" x 3 3/8". The handle, has a woman like you would see on the bow of an old sailing vessel with the start of her tail is a lions head, then ends w/ another creature. The scenes around the deplict 1, two women w/grapes, one stiitng, 2, two small children playing, 3, a woman holding up a man being helped by another. 3, two dogs playing beneith them, 5,man blowing horn, 6, two children playing 7, child & mother, 8, man caressing woman?? and a cheerub on top. I know without a picture you can't surmise much and I know my description leaves a lot to be desired. I'll work on getting the pics. on now, you can E-Mail me at w.wwwaynee@verizon.net
