Good morning all, again. Among my glass steins with porcelain inlaid pewter lids I find a different presentation. Some lids are truly encircling the inlay while others have a recessed pewter area to allow for the porcelain insertion. Is this difference due to the abundance of pewter in a time period and the rationing in an other? Thank you for your input. Regards, Tony B
