Hi John, I reread your article. I guess that I assumed that any stein with a liter marking on the top of the stein, left of the handle, would determine that it came from this particular factory. Mine was a 1 liter and does look exactly like your liter markings except that it is 1 liter and not 1/2. Did other factories use this type of marking?
