Without a picture you told much more than anyone could without seeing the stein. The guy that wrote the article can be contacted through his current listing on eBay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=40045&item=3249841713. However, you will still need to send him a photo of your stein for additional information. Did you check out the manufacturer's mark in the Library?
