There is a seller on eBay with a stein that caught my eye. #3252442404 by seller "muederjoe". Seller has lots of steins to sell with promises of more. There was no mention of the hairline crack in the description that shows in the photo. Nosey me! I thought I would assist the high bidder and inform him so he could work this out in advance. Message to high bidder chavorney54 was returned as undeliverable. It could be just a coincidence.... Be careful!
