Does anyone know what the word "Schweningerkur" means. I know it is a cure for something, but what? The picture it is associated with is a rotund gentleman seated at a table with his dumplings, bread and beer. The inference seems obvious, but I cannot find the word Schweninger, or anything close to it in the dictionary. It is probably slang. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. John
