I'm not aware that this particular characteristic is attributed to any one particular manufacturer. This is not a variation of the black-handled steins that are a characteristic of Marzi & Remy. Note that on the black-handled steins, the black goes all the way around the top of the handle. On this one, the brown is only on the top portion of the handle. The GT signature is what identifies it as a Marzi & Remy. Do your steins contain the marks of other manufacturers? What was the basis for attributing them to other manufacturers? Perhaps if you could post pictures and discuss each one we could get a good discussion going.
