Hi Ron, I have a stein with brown paint all around the top of the handle just like the Marzi& Remy blackhandle steins. I call it my mystery stein. I will post some photos soon and you can see. I was told it was made by Hanke because of the up tilted word of GERMANY that is incised on the bottom. The color scheme of the body is like what is used on Girmsheid steins. The handle looks like M&R. So that is why I call it my mystery stein. I will try and get the photos up in a few days. Ken.
