During this period, Reinhold Merkelbach reproduced a series of Jugendstil (German Art Nouveau) style steins from the turn of the century. They appear quite often on ebay. The 1625 number is a mold/decoration number. Dating your stein would be much closer to 1936 than 1964. Probably pre-WWll.
One word of advice. Stay away from so called "Antique Store" unless you REALLY know your steins. Antique stores tend to try to get top dollar. Not sure what you paid for this stein, but typically on ebay, these Reinhold Merkelbach reproductions sell under $50.00.
I can't help you with your Master stein. It is a nice looking stein, however.
