Höhr-Grenzhausen is the name of a village in the Westerwald, formed by joing the villages of Höhr and Grenzhausen in 1936. Your stein is more recent than that, probably made in the past 30 years or so. It looks like it might have been made by the firm of Reinhold Merkelbach, but the photograph is dark.
