This was the second of Gerz Limitat Steins manufactured in a serie of the Old Westerwald steins. They have been reproduced from 1974 up until 1999 and made in a very limited production up to 300+ pieces every year. This is certainly a rare piece and if perfect I would hold on to it- aprox.value $150- $250 However since this stein is only one in a serie of many other museums reproduction pieces it is hard to say. So far there are only 3-4 complete sets world wide in collectors hands. The steins are not pretty so it is only worth to the real collector. It is really hard to say - but it will sell better in an antique store.Good luck!
