After having been given a number of steins by my brother in law over the years, I noticed recently that I 15 of them and it was starting to look like a collection. So I thought I would buy a few more that appealed to me. The first one I bought appealed only because it was fairly large - 2 liters. No other reason. I really liked the look of the second one. I did some reading and came to the conclustion that what I had bought was a Villeroy and Boch reissue. I understand that in the 1970's these folks started reissuing steins they had made back in the good old days. The article mentioned that they were serial numbered and I assume that's why mine might be one of these. At any rate, there is an image at http://www.knifeoutlet.com/images/ebay/mstein.jpg. Could someone let me know if Identified the stein correctly? Thanks.
